THE NUDE

As a Cardiologist I shared the mundane daily life experiences of my patients with all its joys, sorrows and fears as well as the adrenaline rush of life and death crisis.  I watched their struggle with intimacy, loneliness, vulnerability, and it has changed me.  I have only enhanced the skills I learned from the analysis of the human body with imaging and brought them with me into the highly complex realm of digital photography.   

In my Nudes project (The Nude Matured, Blue Nudes and Spring Nudes), I seek to explore the hidden beauty of aging, the soft sophistication of beautiful older women accepting and even flaunting their continuing desirability in this age of unachievable perfection.  In Objects of Desire (Wallflowers and Still-life), I study light on flowers, sometimes in glass with reflections as still life portraits, or in a harmonious balance with the elements.
